Forbes International Tower, a 55-story commercial building located in Egypt’s New Administrative Capital, has officially registered as the world’s first zero-carbon certified tower. The project was unveiled at the World Economic Forum’s annual meeting in Davos, where Forbes CEO Mike Federle and Magnom Properties’ Chairman Abdulaziz Al Turki signed a Memorandum of Understanding. The tower's design, led by Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architecture, integrates state-of-the-art sustainable technologies to meet the rigorous standards of the International Living Future Institute’s (ILFI) Zero Carbon Certification.
