Forbes International Tower, a 55-story commercial building located in Egypt’s New Administrative Capital, has officially registered as the world’s first zero-carbon certified tower. This landmark achievement is a collaboration between Forbes and Magnom Properties, reflecting a significant advancement in sustainable urban development.

The project was unveiled at the World Economic Forum’s annual meeting in Davos, where Forbes CEO Mike Federle and Magnom Properties’ Chairman Abdulaziz Al Turki signed a Memorandum of Understanding. The tower's design, led by Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architecture, integrates state-of-the-art sustainable technologies to meet the rigorous standards of the International Living Future Institute’s (ILFI) Zero Carbon Certification.

Key features of Forbes International Tower include a solar-panel-covered rooftop, automated HVAC systems, and biophilic design elements that improve air quality and bring natural elements indoors. The building also aims to achieve Platinum LEED certification, further solidifying its status as a beacon of green architecture.

The tower’s location in the Central Business District of the New Administrative Capital places it at the heart of Egypt's ambitious Vision 2030, which emphasizes urban development and environmental sustainability.
